ARTCAR FEST CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF ROLLING ART IN THE SF BAY AREA

California's largest gathering of decorated art vehicles celebrates its 20th year in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over 50 ArtCars from all across the U.S. and Canada will exhibit at two art events in Oakland, California, on October 7th and 8th, 2016.

Friday, October 7, 2016 (5 - 9:30pm)

ArtCar Fest joins Oakland First Fridays at their free street festival in Oakland's Uptown neighborhood. An ArtCar exhibit will fill the entire block of 23rd Street between Telegraph Avenue and Valley Street.

Saturday, October 8, 2016 (6PM - 1AM)

Doors Open 6pm, First Act at 7pm, Last Act at 12am

ArtCar Fest collaborates with NIMBY Art Space for a multifaceted celebration of 20 years of creative community-building. Featuring musical guests Los BaƱos Bike Rodeo Band, The Reliables, The TomorrowMen, and an EXTRA-special guest band. Additional entertainment includes DJ Justin Credible, cabaret acts, films by ArtCar documentarian Harrod Blank, spoken-word artists, and the ArtCar Fest Fashion Show (with Annie Coulter and Dr. Hal presiding).
